The room may no longer host the Big Game, but it is still a pretty posh poker room. In terms of looks, chairs, tables, location (by the pits and the sports book), the poker room is pretty sweet.
There are plenty of regular nits, but there are even more loose-soft tourists.
Some of the dealers are past their prime, but on the whole, a pretty solid crew.
Good selection of beverages, generally reliable service.
Reduced rake on $2/$5 NLHE games is a welcome touch. Good selection of lower buy-in tourneys. Floors are attentive to players requests. Just a nice, relaxed place to play.
Standard $1/hour, $1.50 for $2/$5 NLHE, not as good as Venetian or Aria, but still solid. Comps are now on computer at the poker desk, easy to obtain and easy to spend. I dislike that some of the jackpot drop is funneled to a freeroll, but that is a minor quibble when there are Aces cracked, high hands, and bad beat promos as well.
