The TVs were pretty small and were way up in the corners of the rooms, so they might as well not be there at all. However it was a quieter place away from the rest of the casino, which was nice. Table space and chairs were comfortable...@#$%, they had to be, as I played there for about 10 straight hours!
Competition was pretty easy...I felt like I was easily the best player in the room and I was admittedly wasted. The frustrating part was between 9pm and 11pm there were some people who were seemingly playing for the first time. They called any raise from any position. They would make calls when they had bottom pair...even calling raises. They honestly thought they had the best hands. And of course they'd river trips or an inside straight. But between 3am and 1pm (there was a window during which I was at Ghostbar and Rain), the play was better but yet remained very beatable.
Can't remember much about the dealers other than I know I tipped them pretty well.
I don't think I was empty handed all night long. Makers Mark and Coke all night (and morning) long. They served donuts and danishes for breakfast, which go well with whiskey by the way. Waitresses decently attractive although I would have thought they would be better at the Palms.
They didn't kick me out despite me probably annoying some people with my drunkeness. Or maybe people loved me, they pleaded with me not to leave when I finally stumbed out!
I mentioned the food...didn't do comps...they have high-hand jackpots but I didn't see any of them hit.
