September 2017 - Rivers is supposedly running a Pittsburgh Poker Open but forgot to advertise it. Maybe it's because they were too embarrassed to. New upper management decided to host a series that has NO guarantees for ANY of the events and no hardware (trophies). Half of the satellites for Event #1 were cancelled. And the rest of the events are not even worth playing. The poker room is nice and the favorite words from the floor are "I don't know." Hence this September's PPO draws out a field of slot players and regulars.
