What a shame. I was there at The Hawaiian Gardens Casino since their doors first opened. In fact, I used to walk there, and up the ramp when it was just a couple of trailers put together. It was a lot better back then. Then, came the big top tents with the restaurant in the middle specializing in tasty Asian cuisine accompanied by friendly staff, and various games.
Now, "The Gardens" (though the digs are decent) is just a sizable casino with bad house rules, a$$hole security guards, a sad selection of poker, and overpriced average food.
Win or lose, I was hoping for a good time and a bit of nostalgia tonight. All I got was attitude from the so-called [crooked] security and frustration and disappointment.
Commerce and The Bike are just 20 minutes away, and even travelling 6 hours to Vegas would be worth dodging this place 馃槑馃憥
