The room is really just a roped off area of hallway with no real atmosphere, $1 chips that home games might have (gold screen on gray chip with no edge spots), and average furniture. However that hallway means a lot of passers by see the game and consider coming in. Encourage them. It can't hurt, and we pulled in two guys that just donated chips by playing in way too many hands.
Despite the good comps, the place is a lot more tourist than local.
There were some good dealers, some excellent. But also some that misread hands, did not know how a kill pot worked, etc. They are certainly friendly, though.
They were around. I never waited long, but I was there when the room was somewhat empty. If it were fuller, it might have been drier.
Management did know the games and rules, and were intolerant of any player abuse. I like anything that makes the fish feel comfortable, so that is a plus in my book.
Finger sandwiches and cookies laid out, and a per hour rate not seen elsewhere.
