For starters, Wind Creek is a great place to play poker. The poker room is managed really well and the dealers are more than professional. This place should be recommend to everyone.
The reason for the four stars is as follows:
1. Management has made the decision to have 9 handed tables. Unfortunately, this is a problem for me. The tables are too small to hold this many players. People are on top of each other as well as some players that are not willing to move to make it more comfortable for everyone unless the dealer stops the game and waits for everyone to square-up.
Additionally, with winter approaching us, the transmission of germs is more likely. People will play poker knowing or not knowing they are sick. This will have a detrimental impact on everyone, dealers, players and floor personnel.
2. The cigarette smoke is just suffocating, particularly on the weekend. Someone told me that there were plans to erect a partition/wall to keep the smoke out. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later or better yet, more the room to the non-smoking side.
Overall, it's a great place to play. These changes would make it perfect for me. Thank you.
