Wynn continues to set the standard for poker rooms in Vegas. Comfortable seats, reasonable space between tables, a quiet area away from the incessant noise of slot machines, and adjacent to the parking garage. The only minor drawback is that the restrooms are a bit distant.
For my sessions at 1-3 NL and 4-8 limit, I found the players to be average to loose. On a Saturday night, there are plenty of drunken frat boys proving their manhood; it's reasonably easy to figure them out.
Wynn simply has the most technically proficient dealers on the Strip. Not a single error ever.
If the other casinos would simply observe these servers. Actual smiles, friendly body language, quick service and always gratefully acknowledging tips. Why is this so hard at Bellagio and other large rooms?
Again, other casinos could emulate Wynn, though many choose not to. Brushes are warm and friendly; you get instant eye contact and smiles when you approach the desk.
$1/hour with a new swipe-in system at the tables. Unfortunately, this means that it's no longer possible to accumulate additional hours by logging in, playing for a while, leaving for a few hours, coming back, and finally logging out. It was nice while it lasted.
