Very nice, but cramped. The room is well lit and visually attractive. All tables have autoshufflers and great chairs. The chips are a bit boring, but are brand new (duh...) and clean. The tables are slightly undersized and too close together. Several pillars in the middle of the room also make it a little more cramped.
This is the hardest part of this review, as I believe that the toughness of the competition in this room will change a lot over time. Playing the 8/16 game there were only two players who's game I respected. The rest were either calling stations or overplayed their marginal hands. Once the buzz settles down though I'm sure that the easy access from the parking garage and the comps will fill this room with local rocks who pick off the rich tourists on weekdays. Weekend and low limit action should stay good though.
Not a single misdeal in my four and a half hour session. All were appreciative or their tokes. Some were outwardly friendly and funny, while others just "dummied up and dealt". I sat to the right of a Wynn dealer playing in the the 8/16 game who had 4 years experience dealing at Foxwoods, followed by three at Bellagio. Wynn seems to have drawn the best of the best.
Number one place in town here for sure. The girls are phenomenally gorgeous and extremely friendly. For a blind man Steve Wynn sure knows how to pick 'em. The service was fast and regular. All premium drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are served.
Great! What else can be said? Management handled the room perfectly.
Several of the Floormen were walking around the room signing players up for the Wynn players card. I don't remember what the hourly rate is for the comps, but this is a definate bonus. No high hand or bad beat jackpots, just as a serious poker room should be.
