This is hands down to nicest looking card room you will find in all of Vegas if not the whole country. You walk in and feel like you are in an exclusive club. Since it's in a hallway off the casino noise is not much of an issue. Chairs are the most comfortable you will find, and the 9-handed tables give you lots of space. My only complaint about this is that the lack of a 10th players makes the games that much shorter when a couple players get up to take a break. I might be willing to exchange a few inches of personal space to have another player come in.
I found most of the players to be very good. There were quite a few locals who seemed to know eachother and played here quite often. I didn't see too many clueless players in the time I was there. I'm sure they exist, but in the 6 or so hours that I played the 8-16 game I found the competition to be much tougher than most other low limit games in town.
Very few mistakes while I was there, and those that happened were only minors ones like exposed cards. Very fast and friendly. Right up there with the folks at Bellagio and Mirage, and what else would you expect? This is the most expensive hotel in the world -- obviously there are going to pluck the best dealers from all over the place.
Other than a couple of minor lapses, drinks always came fast. What you have heard about the waitresses themselves is completely true - most look like they could be Playboy bunnies. Most importantly though, they didn't have that holier than thou attitude that a lot of hot chicks have. They were all smiles and didn't seem to mind being called "honey" by sweaty 300 pound poker players... or at least they did a good job pretending not to be annoyed by it.
Management was friendly and ran things very well. The girl running the wait list was excellent and was very accomodating when I requested a seat change before even sitting at my assigned table. Only problem I had was after being seated for about 10 minutes nobody took my card, so I had to get up and give it to a manager. No big deal though -- I don't need to be treated like complete royalty. Not sure if they do this for everybody or just people they know, but I did see a manager take a food order from a player and have it delivered to him from the nearby deli.
