I love the look and feel of this room. The room exudes class and quality. Everything is in great condition. I also like the nine-handed tables because you have more room.
My main complaint about Wynn isn't the toughness of the competition but the lack of available mid-limit (15/30 and 30/60) action. When I tried to play Saturday night at 8 pm, there were only 2 15/30 games and no 30/60 or 40/80 games going. I also saw at least two games that were shut down while I was there. While I much prefer Wynn's atmosphere over Bellagio, I ended up spending the majority of time at Bellagio because the game selection was much better at Bellagio. Interestingly enough, when I went back to Wynn on Monday night, there was a 30/60 game going, and the 15/30 games had a longer list than on Saturday night.
On previous trips, I have played the 2/5 no-limit game. Table selection is key in this game - the quality of the play can vary widely from table to table.
In the 15/30 game, it was easy to get a read on the players. The 30/60 game had a fair amount of tricky and aggressive play. Bellagio has easier games.
Wynn's dealers are first class. They are fast, make very few errors, and know how to run a game.
The waitresses are as beautiful as everyone else says they are. Drink service has been good except for my one time in the high-limit area.
I have never had a bad experience with Wynn's management and staff. They were very helpful and friendly. They seemed to do a good job opening new games when necessary. There is a real emphasis on service.
$1/hour with your Red Card, and $1.50/hour in the high-limit games. Not bad for the Strip!
