For such a grand hotel, the poker room is nice but small.
Tables are nice, seats are big and comfortable, and the rustic brown room hurts your eyes after a while. For a Steve Wynn casino, it's just OK. It's fine to play there just to say you've played there, but other than that...not worth the walk.
There are a lot of locals that play there. They all know each other, so there is a lot of talking going on during the games. I'm not against talking, but there is good bantor and bantor that gets on your nerves, this was the kind that got on your nerves. Also they should band cell phones from the table.
What a joke! People where on the phones while they were in a hand, talking to there daughter, wives, cousins..etc..etc.
If you want to talk on the phone, get up from the table and walk out of the poker room and talk. If you want to smoke you have to walk out of the room, they should do the same with the phone, I'm here to play poker, not to listen to you conversation.
Very average. Played at a table where, I'll call him player A, should have just gave his $400 to Player B. Player A was chasing everything and I mean everything. Player B beat him everytime they where in the hand together. After a while, it was sad.
There are a lot of locals who played there.
The dealers where excellent. The kept the game moving and where very sociable. And most of the women dealers were cute.
I got beat with a very strong hand, and an hour later, while the dealer was changing tables asked me if I was doing any better. That was pretty cool of her to ask.
Waitresses very attractive and orders where brought in a timely fashion.
Management was excellent. Opened new tables when the waiting list got long. Seated you quickly.
