About WSOP-com

888 Holdings became the first online gaming company to obtain a US license in March 2013. The company also has been partnering with licensed online gaming operators to establish a foothold in the legal U.S. poker market. For Caesars, the WSOP-com brand has its own player pool and strong ties to the World Series of Poker.

888 Holdings owns 888Poker, one of the largest online poker sites in the world (currently fifth in overall traffic) after tripling peak players on international sites from 2010 to 2012. Based in Gibraltar, 888 has made a foothold in the U.S. market with WSOP-com, and soon plans to expand into Nevada and elsewhere.

Interactive Gaming Partners

Caesars Interactive Entertainment’s initial WSOP-com online poker site was the first U.S. legal, 888-based online poker site to launch real-money operations within the U.S. The New Jersey version is nearly identical software, though there is no interstate play at this time. It's worth noting that New Jersey will also be running satellites for the World Series of Poker alongside its Nevada counterpart. As of January 12, 2015, WSOP & 888poker announced they will immediately begin sharing player liquidity for micro and low-limit cash games and select tournaments as well.

Rewards Program

Action Club

The WSOP-com loyalty program is called the Action Club. The Action Club features six tiers: silver, gold, platinum, diamond, elite, and seven stars. The first four (silver through diamond) are earned based on the amount of raked hands or tournaments a player plays each month. Silver is earned with 200 Action Player Points (APPs) in a month, and diamond is earned with 3,500 APPs. For the final two tiers -- elite and seven stars -- players must earn 50,000 points or 400,000 points in a year, respectively. Each APP earned also earns a player WSOP points at a rate tied to the player's tier. WSOP points can be redeemed for cash at a rate of $0.01 per WSOP point.
