I have gone to Dania Jai-alai since I was in high school in the 70's. The updated casino is beautifully done and parking is easy. Nice clean feel.
The card room is upstairs. Everyone is friendly.
The problem is there just doesn't seem to be a lot of people here. For a midweek $3000 guarantee tournament there were only 25-30 people. Lots of Golden oldies like me. They started with a weird freeroll structure which is too complicated. On some days they have a more conventional structure, but with a $60 buy in and $40 rebuy plus a $40 add on, you have people just playing crazily and rebuying over and over. Bad beats galore.
I don't know what they can do to increase Traffic in either the casino or the poker room, but if they don't, they have got to bleeding cash.
