Club Fortune Details
Based in Henderson, Nevada, the Club Fortune Casino poker room provides a secluded selection of poker action. Contrary to the offering of many small casinos, Club Fortune’s poker games take place in a dedicated non-smoking room away from the rest of the gambling floor. Club Fortune is known as a hold’em-only venue, offering cash games in no-limit and spread-limit form, plus daily no-limit tournaments. Other game types are available on request when enough demand arises. Club Fortune is accommodating to “low rollers” as one of the few venues to offer no-limit $0.50-$1 cash games in Las Vegas. Club Fortune is also unique in spreading 11-player tables in tournaments and peak times.
The Club Fortune poker room is located behind the main bar area and opens its doors from noon every day. In terms of appearance, the room is very neatly decorated in a beige-and-black color scheme. The main chips cage is at the front of the room, with a black marble desk separating the players from staff. Club Fortune’s assortment of poker tables are placed relatively close together and are arranged with arched-back swivel seats for players and dealers. All tables are within range of the room’s wall-mounted large-screen television monitors, which steam televised sports.
Promotions open to cash-game players in Club Fortune include a $5 per hour comp scheme during happy hours between noon and 2 p.m. daily. With a standard $1 comp rate at other times, these earnings can be banked and exchanged for meals, drinks and other services throughout the casino. There is also a progressive bad-beat jackpot with standard terms, plus regular high-hand promotions and the usual aces-cracked offering. Free food is given to players in the evenings to encourage participating in the daily tournaments.
