North Carolina has doubled its poker offerings with the opening of Harrah's Cherokee Valley River in Murphy, which is near the Tennessee and Georgia borders and not far from South Carolina. Valley River's WSOP-themed room includes 10 tables and runs cash game 8-handed. Players who call in to get on a cash game wait list have up to 90 minutes to arrive.
