The staff there is very friendly and willing to engage in conversation at the tables. However, they always had LONG waiting lists to play and would not open up new tables for players even when there are 20+ people waiting to play. The fact that the poker room is open from 11am - 3am sucks too because if you don't get there at 1030 you won't get a spot on a table until 2pm at the earliest. The issue isn't due to covid as we are all socially distanced and the maximum number of people has not been reached. It is really due to the fact that the poker room just isnt opening the extra tables. Maybe they don't have enough dealers or maybe they didn't think it would be as busy or maybe they dont care. Also, the chips felt extremely dirty and grimy. I have been to other casinos where the chips felt brand new and the fact that this was something even worth mentioning should tell you how dirty the chips were.
The competition at the table was fine. Mostly locals. There wasn't any promotions that I can remember which sucked and having to pay for drinks at a casino always sucks but thats a state law I guess.
