I've had a pattern of bad experiences in this poker room, but 7/4/2026 was the breaking point. I was in a hand when two regular players called clock on me after what was a genuinely reasonable amount of time to think through the decision — nowhere close to stalling. Jeff Hill, the poker room floor manager, enforced the clock immediately. He didn't ask the dealer how long I'd actually been in the tank, didn't ask me, didn't pause to make an independent judgment call at all. He just sided with the regulars on the spot.
That's the core problem with this room: the floor doesn't operate as a neutral authority. It operates as an extension of the regular crowd. If you're not a familiar face, you get less benefit of the doubt, less patience, and less protection from a table that will lean on the floor to speed you along or push you out of your comfort zone. The regulars know Jeff won't push back on them, and they use that.
The room has a real "insiders vs. everyone else" feel to it, and Jeff's handling of situations like this is a big part of why. A floor manager's entire job is to be the one impartial person at the table — the person who slows things down and makes an actual judgment instead of just going with whoever's loudest. That's not happening here.
