Casual room with a beatable game

Poker room is a nook on the casino floor with 4 tables. A manager's desk functions as a cashier, and a whiteboard on the wall displays the current high hand payouts. Nothing fancy, but generally clean and neat with new felt on some of the tables.

The Joker's Wild has its share of regulars and veterans. Most are either predictably tight or predictably aggressive. There's not too much fancy play, and a lot of loose calling and longshot drawing. Don't plan on winning a hand without a showdown.

The dealers are either fresh out of school (and don't stay at JW long) or longtime dealers who stay for the casual, relaxed atmosphere. They're more friendly than average, which is a nice plus.

Service can be hot and cold. When it's on, you'll never be without a fresh drink - but when it's not, the wait can be looooooong.

The room is well run, and the managers (and dealers) will often sit in a game to keep it from breaking, or to get a new game started.

High hand jackpots are paid for 4-of-kind or better, and are generally in the $50-$200 range. Not familiar with the comp system, though I know that meeting monthly hours-played levels earns you cash back.
