Did a week in San Diego and thought I'd throw a couple reviews on the board.
Heard a lot about Ocean's 11 and made it my primary stop. Wasn't really sure I'd made the right call as I pulled up but when I went in - Wow!
First, there are a ton of tables in here and place looks great. Was really impressed.
There's almost TOO much variety in play. Thank God I stayed off the 1/1 tables. It's a $40 max buy-in and it's worse than some of the tables used to be in Florida. There a lot of choices for blinds and think it would be a little tough for a rookie to settle in here but I guess that's how you learn. Settled in a 4/8 table and the play was pretty good.
One thing I really liked was the food prices. The place is dirt cheap. You'll never find food prices as cheap as these. It would be really easy for someone to play here for a few days and not run up a bill.
I did notice things get a little loose here. I heard a few heated discussions and the staff may have done a little bit job controlling things but I'm probably nit-picking a little.
I think most anyone would enjoy coming out here. It was a nice stop for me.
