Today was my first time visiting Palace Poker, and let me start by saying the place itself is absolutely stunning, hands down one of the best poker rooms I’ve ever seen.
Now for the service… I usually don’t leave reviews, but I feel like I should share my experience. Unfortunately, it started off on the wrong foot. My first server, Darby, wasn’t great. She got my order wrong, and despite asking multiple times for water, it took far too long to get it. I understand it was a tournament, but as a guest, I don’t think I should have to keep asking repeatedly for basic service.
My second server (I believe her name was Kayla, though I’m not entirely sure) was much better. She was attentive and friendly, which I appreciated.
But the highlight of my visit was my last server, Queen. And who could forget a name like that? Her personality truly matches the elegance of the Palace. She made me feel welcomed, encouraged me even when I was losing, and had unmatched urgency in her service. Every time I asked for something, her response was, “Of course, this place was made for me.” That little statement alone made me feel like I belonged and that I was valued as a guest.
Because of her amazing service, I’ll definitely be returning to Palace Poker.
