4 days of Limit at The Palms! Had a blast!!

The room was well setup with 6 tables fairly well spaced out in the Limit Room and 4 tables in the No Limit Room. There were televisions in each corner of the room so if you needed to check some scores in between hands then you could. The seats were comfortable and seat cushions were available for added comfort. The tables were very nice except on the in the Limit Room that was fluffier then my pillow and had some black storage thing in the middle that all the mucked cards and bets dove into. Pretty stupid how they can use a table like that and if it wasn't there I would have thought the room was a 5!

Mostly local rocks as I was suprised to be one of the few tourists playing there and most of the dealers knew everyone. Now I wouldn't say all these locals were amazing players or anything but in the lower limits with 80% of the players seeing the flop, very good hands were subject to lucky draw outs and river chases that would sometimes work out. However that's to be expected playing lower limits in casino's. There's definitely some fish with no experience there as well as some locals with tons of experience so the competition is right down the middle.

Dealers on a whole were all fairly solid and kept the game moving well and didn't get too upset with players who were being pains in the @#$% so that was nice of them. Most of them had average personalities and actually seemed to like what they were doing which is always nice to have or it makes for a long night. Only dealer I didn't like (forgot name) tried to take my cards after I won a pot as she though I lost the pot to a pair of aces and didn't realize I had 2 pair and some guy and I almost had to grab her hand as she was about to put my cards in the pile and give the pot to the other player....so that was pretty stupid! As well, she was very anal about players not putting a chip or weight on their cards if you were sitting beside her as she was paranoid the players cards would fall over. She litterally told the player in Seat 1 this everytime she dealt as he didn't remember and the whole table was happy when she left for the next table. Overall though, dealers were very fun, engaging, and very pleasant making a great table experience.

Smoking hot!! What can I say, The Palms defintely delivers in the cocktail waitress department as I didn't see one lady who wasn't attractive. All were very young and the only one I saw in 4 days that was older was a great looking cougar! All my drink orders were correct and yes they do serve red bull which is key. Grey goose and red bull is my new favourite drink and they were happy to deliver it :) Drink quality was superb as well!! It wasn't super quick but it wasn't super slow as it does get pretty busy there at nights so that's cool and there looks more than made up for the slow speed sometimes!

Managment at The Palms was great and answered all my questions and helped me redeem my comps without a problem everytime. The list was very well organized and I never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for a spot on a table. They don't have an electronic list system but offered to call you at your room when your spot was up or would give you a pager that buzzes when it's your turn. As well, your name was called over the speaker when it was your turn.

Great comps with $1 per hour offered and in addition offered $1000 giveaways everytime a team scored during the monday night football game and the draws ranged from $100-$500 payed in cash right on the spot (you can't beat that). They offered four draws per night during the other nights with the same concept. Also, they had high hand jackpots for 4 of a kind, straigh flushes and royal flushes. Royal's were $599 and the straight flush and 4 of kind started at $50 and worked there way to $599 which was awesome. I didn't hit any but saw a bunch of players who did and once again were paid right on the spot. Great comps for the players!!
