Just opened 6 weeks ago. 5 tables of enjoyable 1/2 & 2/5 NL. Small club feel. Good food and staff that were helpful and friendly. On a RV trip from California visiting dozens of poker rooms from one table rooms to the largest poket rooms in massive casino and my visit here was one of the most enjoyable poker experiences so far. It had a small private club feel with friendly dealers. Promotions could be improved but they are trying new things to see what their players prefer. The Internet went down in the whole area which hampered operations on the Poker Atlas site and their lucky seat drawing for a $100 every hour but they scrambled and substituted a high hand promo instead. One of the owners and then later the Director of Poker operations personally introduced themselves and wanted to make sure I was having a good experience there. I assured them I was. If you are near the Richmond area check this place out. If you love poker you will probably love Pop's in Richmond. Back on the road with a good memory of Poker in Richmond.
