Upscale safe location. Simple, clean and spacious room. Action is good and the players are a lot less frantic/desperate than the other ones in town. Professional dealers plus competent and confident floor give the house more of an aficionado atmosphere. I like it for the unique promotions, military discounts and good times. Only downside are the tournaments... registration period is three hours plus three more hours to split the prize. Just too darn long, especially for the senior clientele. Bottom line is San Antonio's Card House may not have LA's energy or Vegas's degenerate grind/mind set but SACH is 100% Texas and offers the best, most challenging and comfortable Hold em I've found yet.
