Talking Stick is the premier poker room in the Phoenix Metro area. They run all kinds of limits (true no-limit hold'em is not legal in Az, afaik), I usually stick to 2/3 Spread (3-300?) or 3/6 limit. Mostly I play in their tournaments, which are generally top notch. They also hold the Az State Poker Championship every August, which is a great value, and offers decent competition. Their nightly tournaments (M-Thu) and Saturday 11am tournaments are the best in town. I'm not overly impressed with their comps in the poker room, but they do have splash pots and other promotions. Table side meals are discounted, and the food is pretty good. The dealers are usually friendly, knowledgeable and fast. The competition can be tough at times. I rarely find myself to be the best player at the table, but I'm usually not the worst, either. As compared to other casinos near the metro Phoenix area, this one is the best.
