The Good: Always good action from locals and tourists, great atmosphere, not smokey, even mix of high and low rollers, comfy chairs, well run tourneys-many with guarantees, good mix of Texas and Omaha games, food/drink service excellent.
The Bad: Seems mgmnt is trying to get rid of us peons. In last year, Comps now only $1/hr - down from $2. As of 2016, rake is now a whopping $5/hand. That rake ALL goes to the house = no badbeats nor jackpots. Most rooms only rake $3 or 4 with maybe an additional $1 for those promotions. Also, not to nitpick, but about a fourth of the dealers can't adequately read hands/run Omaha HiLo game.
Caution: Some players make a living here, so watch out for sharks.
