Tables are grinders, but can pay off

I play 1/2 NL at Sands once or twice a month. If you've got patience, you can do well here. I've found every game to be a real grind, so you need to be in it for the long haul if you want to increase your chip stack. The competition is a good mix of awful to above average players. Weekend nights can get interesting, I've yet to sit at a table without at least one drunk. Which is fine for my game, but at a grinding table it can get annoying after awhile. The dealers are competent and friendly, but also stern with the rules (especially with the drunks). Regulars all know each other, as well as the dealers, but that doesn't impact competition here. If you ever play Mt. Airy you'll see many of the same faces here. Haven't played any tournaments here, start times don't usually work with my schedule. Plus I like the cash game action. Comps are $1 an hour, and all drinks are comped here unlike some other PA casinos.
