Long-time player here at Bonita, but I'm playing elsewhere more frequently now because of how poorly this room operates. Come on you guys, stop spreading tables thin so you can rake more. You already rake too much. I consistently see new tables opening up, when there are existing tables playing 6 or 7 handed with empty seats, so you can have more tables pulling in more rake and more dealers pulling in tips. When my table is short handed and the floor isn't doing a good job then I'm not tipping the dealers anymore. The Sarasota room makes a better effort to keep tables full. Also, promos are absent in the middle of most days, but the rake is still high, so many players leave when there's no active promo. Promos are unbalanced. 2/5 gets twice as much more, although there is always more 1/2 tables running. With no active promo then the room goes dead and the 8 seated tables get short handed. Day shift dealers are good but many evening dealers are subpar and careless.
