Was in a heads up hand to the river. I call his river bet and turn my cards face up, I show (A)(9) for 2 PAIR, guy looks at my cards then taps his cards twice and says “good hand” and throws his cards towards the dealer, dealer grabs his cards and pulls them to the muck and starts to pass me the pot. The other player then says “woah what are you doing?” The dealer says you folded. The other player then reaches for his cards, that were half way in the muck and turned them over and shows (J)(10) of HEARTS for a FLUSH and says “see why would I fold that?” The dealer then calls the floor.
The Tournament Director comes over and listens to the other players argue with the guy about how he folded!!! After a while the floor say let me go make a call. 45 seconds later the Tournament Director say the cameras said the card were placed in front of player and the Dealer grabbed the cards so unfortunately I don’t get the pot and the player who folded gets the pot!
This is not the first time the Tournament Directors have cheated or not honored simple poker rules and I don’t see it being the last!
Depending on who they like or a fan of, Tournament directors bend rules, lie, and cheat! I play in many tournaments at many different casino and this place is one of the worst. The value is there but the professionalism and integrity of the game is embarrassing!
