I'm playing here a few weeks ago and I want to review an instance that happened in a hand:
I was playing 1-2 down a buy in and on the button I pick up A5 suited. I have three limpers of the straddle ($5) to me and I attempt to reraise to $25 by throwing a green chip in the middle. After throwing in the $25 chip the dealer says "that's a call" and I laugh because that's a funny joke. Turns out that throwing in a chip, no matter the color here signifies a call. You think I'm that retarded that I'm making a call for $5 with a $25 chip? What the actual @#$%. Anyways my $5 call brings along 2 more calls for $5. Flop comes 2 clubs. I then bet $25 by announcing it and throwing out a green bc this place is so retarded. Get two callers. The turn comes an off suite eight and it checks to me again where I bet $40, then I get one caller then check raised to $95 which both of us calls. The river comes a brick and it checks down and the guy who called a $95 check raise wins with on pair (8-6 off suit) that would've folded pre flop. The other player had KT of clubs for a missed flush draw too. Needless to say I would've won the @#$% pot by folding out 8-6 offsuit if my $25 green chip preflop signified a raise. @#$% this stupid @#$% rule.
