I bought into a daily tournament. A fellow player and regular to the casino complained that I violated the rule not to show my cards to my heads-up opponent. I readily admitted doing so. I was penalized by sitting out an entire round of the table. No problem. Later that same opponent exposed his cards with action behind. The Floor ruled in his favor saying the difference was my exposure of cards was intentional and his was "accidental"--he "didn't know" there was action behind. The TDA rules don't specify "intent" as a precursor to the rule's violation. Good ole boys stick together.
