Played for a couple of hours at Harrah's recently on a Thursday night. The room was kind of dead. Mostly local grinders trying to cash the bad beat jackpot, which stood over $400,000. Also, they were running a nice $500 high hand promo every hour. I was going to play the advertised 8PM tourney, but it didn't run because there was only one other entrant. Floor management was inattentive and not supporting what seemed like a great lineup of dealers. The rewards display on our table was malfunctioning and dealers were unable to swipe in player reward cards at the table. This inconvenience was magnified for both dealers and players by the unresponsive floor people. Also, I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to surface at the cage and give me chips to start play. There was no one there!
