First off, great layout with having the cashier and table so close together. It was my first casino experience and I went with the intention of focusing on poker and it got the job done. Went on a weekend and only had to wait about 5 mins tops which was fine, dealers were all friendly (I played the 1/2 game) as were players. Some wild players, watched one guy go all in tons of times so definitely some loose cannons but competition is fairly easy and if you’re patient you can win pretty easily. I’d imagine 2/5 has better competition so hopefully I can go for that next time. Only real problems I had with it were the rake and lack of bad beat/high hand jackpot. Sure, I understand that it’s the only casino around for hundreds of miles, but is a 10% rake up to $7 necessary? Found myself really getting annoyed with winning a $50-$60 pot then looking down at about $40-50 after tipping the dealer. Not fun when that happens but can’t do too much about it, other than that a good experience, hopefully will return in the future.
