Running Aces has won me over. First, I don't think you're going to find a nicer staff. Tristan, who runs the room is one of the best guys you're going to meet in poker. Most of the rooms in Minnesota have great people running them but they really go out of their way to help out whether there is an issue at the table or you need a drink. Plus the play is really solid. I've traveled to a lot of places to play and really didn't expect much competition but these guys know what they're doing at the table so you'd better be ready. It's not an easy game but you'll always have fun. Food is pretty good there too plus there's always beer and booze flowing. The wait staff really gets it. Some of the tables are too close to the machines but they are limited in space so not much you can do. Overall, if you're near Minneapolis-St. Paul, it's worth the drive.
