We recently hosted a private poker tournament at Texas Card House – Spring, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish. Huge shoutout to GM Mike Traylor, who went above and beyond to make it happen. I came in with the idea of running a tournament, and Mike took that and built out a complete structure for us: format, blind levels, the works. He made the whole planning process easy and stress-free.
We had two dedicated tables for the tournament with a cash game to follow, which kept the energy going all night. The group was a real mix of skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players, and the staff handled the dynamic perfectly without missing a beat.
Our server, SoSo, was a standout. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure all were taken care of. Every drink was made well, delivered promptly, and the pricing was very fair.
If you're thinking about hosting a poker night or private event, this is the place to do it. The staff clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again to Mike, SoSo, and the whole TCH Spring team!
