The three main reasons that I play The Orleans are:
1) The great Omaha8 action at several levels...
2) The comfortable, but affordable (deals) they give me on rooms AWAY from The Strip...
3) The mixed game tournaments offered throughout the week.
Now it's not elegant or fancy in the least, but it's hardly grimy either ( despite the streets surrounding ;).
What it is: A casual room with a plethora of tables and comfy seats, frequent drink service, and lots of promos each month. I've found that things are decently run, with only two minor mishaps over the years. 'Course, there are lotsa local "grinders" playing daily, though mostly in the daylight, and very few of the dealers require some patience to accommodate, but all n' all, the place suits me fine.
