Had a great time, very fun atmosphere. Played mainly 4-8 limit, and came out a little ahead. A little cramped, but overall comfortable. My table was close to the rail, so lots of people watching. Got a table relatively quickly on a weekend evening.
A couple of good aggressive players, a few completely clueless middle aged ladies with lots of money, and everybody else average. I thought the clueless ladies were just putting on a show, but after an hour or so, it was apparent they had no idea how to play. At this table, very friendly, no ultra-serious types, nobody had sunglasses. I think the alcohol on this weekend made everyone a lot looser.
I only experienced excellent dealers during this trip. No mistakes, dealt fast and efficiently. Everybody was tipping a few bucks each pot, so the dealers were getting taken care of and were appreciative.
They came around often and didn't take long to get a refill.
I saw no problems. It was pretty busy, but I still got onto a table pretty fast. When I left for a few hours and came back, they honored my request to be seated at the same table and again got on quickly.
Don't know. Didn't ask and was staying at the Luxor anyway.
