My Favorite Poker Room Overall

The quality of the poker room at Cesars Palace is Excellent. The tables have auto shufflers, but frequently the cards would get lost under the rail. The chairs are comfy. It's out of ears reach of any slot machine which I think is great. There are several TVs if you're into that. It's well lit and a there's lots of room. A very nice atmosphere, but nothing too glitzy. They also had food service and a masseuse. The chips are a very nice custom mold Paulson, all in great condition. The tourney chips were solid color top hat & cane Paulson with a hotstamp. The SnG chips were solid color BJs which seemed like Wal-Mart chips.

I played $3/$6 and several tourneys & SnGs. There were some locals in the $130 tourney, but none in the $100 that I could see. None at $3/$6 as they'd obviously play higher limits.

$3/$6 was profitable on every occasion as well as the SnGs, however, I didn't cash in any of the tourneys. In general, the low limits were profitable, I couldn't tell you about the higher limits.

Every dealer here was top notch. All friendly and no mistakes. I played here 3 times in a 12 day period and didn't see any mistakes. That's very good. One dealer always knew how much was in the pot at any given time. I tested him a couple times.

The cocktail service here was good. They were prompt in arriving, and somewhat prompt at returning. The waitress were nothing to look at but that's not what they are there for. Especially one older gal approx 55 who was in a rather revealing outfit. She knew what she was doing tho. The drinks were good as well. They had Red Bull an alright iced cappuccino.

I liked the management here as they were friendly to you regardless how you were dressed or what limits you were playing. (unlike the Bellagio) One manager who was overseeing the tourney kinda slowed up play with some chit chat, but he was entertaining. All of the management seemed like old school Vegas. The tourney structures are the best I've played anywhere.

There are no high hand or bad beat JPs. I asked a dealer why, they comedically said, "It's Cesars Palace, we don't need HH & BB Jackpots" I believe they comp $1/hr with the Rewards card which is used at about 9 casinos on the strip and down town.
