I miss the good old days when poker at Delaware Park was supported by the casino, and they made even 1% effort to the game and players.
A few dozen people have been waiting patiently for hours now, wanting to play. While it’s reported on Poker Atlas that they have 25+ tables, the truth is they do have 25 tables, but only use 2 tables for games. The other 23 tables are kept empty and take up space.
If Delaware Park truly supported the poker community and wanted to bring in more business they’d bring on a couple additional poker dealers, start marketing to players that they are in business and want to grow the game.
But just the way the casino and poker room are being managed, you can tell they are not investing in the people or the games, and don’t want to work to bring in business.
I’d strongly recommend just avoiding Delaware Park, and just play at any other poker room/casino in the region.
They just don’t care.
