Unique poker experience

The room is small, but the disadvantages of smoking are gone and watching the passers by can be entertaining.
Remember that the game is like no other. One single dollar blind means you can wait all day for cards. six dollars on the river means you can wait to show power (and many old local rocks play just that way)

Most of the time there are locals who play all the time. One Asian guy says he plays about 15 hours a day and makes an average of $30. At other times it will collect tourists. And some of the regulars are poor and loose. Like all poker games the game changes as the players change. HOwever, if you go a few times, you will see players you remember, so keep aware of how they play.

I have seen little dealer problems. Many of the dealers play when they are not dealing. They are not that good except for Vicki. She is unbeatable.

Myers Rum and lime satisfy me.

I love Ralph. He is my favorite. With his suspenders he reminds me of old time Vegas. If you play there, tell him dewey said hello.

NOthing. I guess that every other day you can get a $5 food comp. I used to use it for the Patty Melt at Careless Kitty's but last time I had better choices so I never checked if it was available or not. Food at the El Cortez is pretty bad. I like the Mamacita's Mex/Cuban seven steps across Freemont street.
