The poker room is constantly hiring new dealers as the casino refuses to pay poker dealers more than $3 an hour. Because of this most dealers with experience don't stay and they are constantly in the hiring process. They release new dealers onto the felt after just 3 weeks of training who are nowhere near ready to be dealing live games. I have to become a player dealer whenever a new dealer is at the table because they make mistakes on the most basic rules and can't run a game properly. It is a shame because it is one of the nicest rooms in the country with a lot of games 24/7, good action, and great promotions. I do my best to be patient and help out. I don't blame the new dealers as it isn't their fault that they didn't receive enough training and were thrown into the fire too soon. Sadly, I will be playing here less often because of this.
