So first, I do play here on occasion but simply because it’s 3 blocks away but anyone coming in should be diligent about their play. Staff is warm and welcoming but there tends to be an everchanging rule book. I play on average of 52 weeks in the year in every corner of the country but this room allows some dubious plays. Just yesterday here’s a real kicker…

Post flop w dbl suit 982, BB Jams for $35, I call, BT jams for 125$ effective, I tank a min and fold. My hand a dbl gutter draw to the straight and flush but good odds.
Now, as quickly as I slide in my hand the BT also mucks his cards and announces “Nice hand Bro” and the dealer never hits 4th street. Dealers and a few others sat in stunned silence. After the chips got pushed I asked, “What the @#$% was that?” To which the BT replied “Hey dude I’m just trying to help a brother”.
Now here’s the problem, the dealer heard all of this and didn’t call the floor. I later brought it to their attention but it’s water over the dam. The player should have been escorted out for blatant collusion.
This behavior will kill your room, the table saw it happen and everyone left shortly afterwards. Clean it up! Managment needs to instill a zero tolerance policy or even the decent recs won’t come back.
