I've reached a point where I feel compelled to leave a review. I fully accept my own responsibility when it comes to how I play, but the way players are treated at this poker room leaves a lot to be desired. If the dealers showed a better understanding of how to engage with and respect the players who choose to spend their time and money here, I’d have a lot more respect for this establishment.
For example, I clearly told the dealer multiple times that I wanted to wait for the button to pass before being dealt in—yet I was still put into the hand. Yes, ultimately it’s on me to manage my chips and decisions, but this kind of oversight contributes to costly mistakes. It's frustrating to have to constantly remind the dealers of the board, the action, and the rules—things they should already be fully on top of.
In addition, players are often on their phones at the table with no enforcement of etiquette, and the overall atmosphere lacks professionalism. Why should poker players keep tolerating this? It's time to raise the standard: enforce the rules you say you follow, train your dealers to be more attentive and responsive, and make your room a place where the game is respected and run professionally.
