Friendly and laid-back

The tables were a little run down looking and the chips could use a good cleaning. The chairs were comfortable though and the non-smoking rule is nice.

There was a lot of chasing and I twice had a guy jump up from his seat, excited about his great hand, only to realize that I had the better hand.

The dealers were quick and made no mistakes that I caught. Having to go through the high hand jackpot routine slowed things down a little but they've got it down pat and breezed through it.

Service was quick and you can order bottled beers from their in-house micro-brewery.

There was one incident where a player was mistakenly called for a table move but otherwise they seemed on the ball. They were friendly and patient with my friend who'd never played casino poker.

The jackpots seemed to be about average. I didn't play long enough to worry about comps.
