Their upper mgmnt wants their poker room to fail

From the embarrassing busted big screen TV that's been unrepaired for years now (which would take their technicians maybe one service call to correct), to the fact they removed tournaments (so now ONLY live and parx get all the draw for that (the two casinos they sit between along 95) ... the very weak, 50k BBJ with the super high qualifier that they still consistently take a rake for although it's weirdly capped at only 50k and hasn't been hit in over a yr (Parx and wind creek are unlimited, Live is capped but has a lower qualifier and gets hits way more often)...to the unprofessional hours of a closed cage within the room and no proper counter (whether a cage runner, dealers who can offer chips, or a floor cart like the other neighboring casinos ALL offer) as they don't even observe the hours the DO have listed on their posted sign (no fault of the folks working in the room daily or Dave the poker manager) ... this poker room which used to be 24 hours is and was one of the best poker rooms in the tristate is now easily the worst bc of how the upper level leadership refuses to allow Dave Grubb to latitude to run it in a way that could easily make it more profitable with a few small changes that cost the casino next to nothing ... it's almost as if they want it to fail so they can turn it into a high limit Baccarat or Pai Gow room; and besides the fact that its unfair to the loyal locals and the few visitors who are puzzled when comparing it to other Rivers' or even basic casinos across the country, they weirdly did this AFTER they invested in upgrading seats and carpet no1 cared about but then stripped away anything that can give a decent ROI and literally no1 cared about or would trade this level of service and menial offering for, all bc the last manager THEY HIRED ran the budget in the ground ... they need to do better as that was well over 2 years ago, let that go and allow Dave the reins necessary to make that place great again otherwise they'll lose the few players and great dealers they have left (as most have migrated to live, parx or wind creek). That said, there's a few Simple easy fixes: Open up the bad beat (simply uncap it and even collect an extra dollar for it if need be), bring back tournaments (make them aggressive and enticing, either run the cage properly, allow dealers to make change at the table, or bring in a chip cart (all available the duration the rooms open) ... and for God sakes fix the TV. Those few things would bring MORE players back and restore this room to greatness.
