The Room itself is nice , bad location though and too small
Lots of tourists fairly easy competition although the purses are so small and only pay top 2 spots which is also quite embarrassing along with the 40% take in the 2 $30 buy in events which is obscene.Playing poker for 3 hours with 3 tables and finishing 3rd and getting nothing is obscene because they imbalance the payouts with there 40% rake.
Some dealers were ok , but several were brash and arrogent , obviously working in an ametuer room like this would be the only place they might get employment. lol
Cocktail service was Ok probably better then average
Heres where the problems begin. One nightshift manager was advertising a freezeout tournament at midnight with no add-ons or re-buys , Yet after the tourney began they allowed you to rebuy as a new player till the frst hour ended? HELLO? I saw one guy re enter 3 times ? This Manager needs to go to a poker seminer to learn what a freeze out tournament really is, this guy couldnt manage a parking lot never mind a poker room.
Not only do they give you nothing they take a 40% rake like i stated earlier on the two $30 buy in tourneys, this hotel only seems to offer poker as a novelty because everyone else has it and you can tell this by the way they operate.
