With the raise in prices from $13/hr to $14/hr and increase in food and drink prices they seem to be pushing out the low stakes player.
They used to have happy hour/beer specials which they no longer have any more. Thursdays used to be $2 beer night, no longer. This made for good action and a full room and new games starting around 5:00. Went there this past Thursday and it was dead, room is usually backed with full tables and it was half full.
Like Vegas they seem to have pushed away the low stakes player by raising prices which is the exact opposite of what management should be doing as the economy turns to a recession and there are less entertainment dollars they are competing for.
The staff and dealers are excellent! However, with other rooms offering better pricing or time promos I will come less frequently
