Play with the motorcycle helmet, not the old guys

To echo what everyone else has said..this place is a bit dingy. I didn't find the felt to be in that great of shape, either, after reading what other people said.

For some reason I decided this was the time to play against some old timers that were rocks and ignored the fact that the other 2/4 table had a guy sitting in a motorcycle helmet and was filled with lots of youngsters that were showing their inexperience.

I'm in the small blind. The dealer collects all of the preflop betting and just stares at me. I'm thinking that he wants me to bet. I am thinking that I'm doing something wrong until someone comments that I might like to see a flop before betting again. After that the dealer turns to me and says sorry, that he'd been drinking for a few hours. Funny, yes, but scary as well.

I was kept happy the whole time I was in the room. I was a little upset that I couldn't order a beer and water together, but the waitress made sure to come back quick with the second item I'd ordered.

They weren't too organized and when I cashed out and said that I'd left my players card I got a pissy answer of, "Of course you have."

$3/hr, sandwiches and coffee. How can you complain?
