Worst Room For 2-5 Players Especially

Venetian has really become the bottom of the barrel with player friendliness. Their one mission is to take advantage of the naive tourist who knows no better.

If a player does not chop (very common esp in Vegas) $3 of a $10 pot will be taken. $4 out of 20 and $5 out of $50. They crush you on small pots.

Other major rooms in town take significantly less not including the additional jackpot drop. So the small blind is taken every hand post flop to fund jackpot. Now with this collection the Ventian will let the jackpot grow small and reserve most of the funds to entice locals who normally would never play there, with large high hands, during the slow part of the summer. They use wsop players' money to give to locals.

After long boycotting this room. I recently played two 2-5 sessions here. The greed level at Venetian and by Tommy LaRosa is surmount. We were playing 4 handed and they refused to lower the rake. They said boss' orders. Then we got 4+2. Impossible to play short handed at that rake. Utter greed.

Let me also remind you that they give only $1 per hr comps and can only redeem a minimum of $10. Other rooms give $2 per hr and no min.

As a side note. Many of the dealers are not the greatest in Vegas and tend to be older and slower. Venetian poker room went so far down hill that perhaps it will eventually turn into high limit slots like San Manuel's 30 table popular room, that happened this year.
