About the 2014 World Series of Poker
The 2014 World Series of Poker will play host to over 60 tournaments this summer ranging in buy-ins from $500 to $1 million. Each day there will be two tournaments starting with several other events playing day two and day threes. The $1000 and $1500 tournaments normally draw huge crowds and often pay half a million dollars or more for first place. Along with the scheduled events, the WSOP also runs mega satellites to their $10,000 buy in events. These mega satellites run nightly and the entry fees start at $330. Single table satellites also abound and are as cheap as $125 to join in. They also run daily deepstack tournament events which range from $135 to $235 and typically draw huge fields of recreational players looking to get in on the WSOP action. And don't forget about the action at WSOP.com. WSOP.com will also run satellites daily on their website to allow players the opportunity to win their way in to most WSOP events for very cheap! Sign up for WSOP.com now if you are interested in playing online.

Rio Convention Center Area
The Rio Convention Center consists of three main rooms, even if you are not playing…they are all a must see.
- Pavilion Room: This is the huge room where you will find the cash game action, satellites, and the Daily Deepstacks.
- Amazon Room: Located at the far end of the Convention Center, this is the room where most spectators come to watch. The famous ESPN final table is located in the Amazon Room - where the most cameras are. So if you are looking to spot a pro or maybe get on TV, this is the room to visit.
- Brasilia Room: Even though this is the smallest of the three rooms, it still holds over 1,000 players and is where most of the Day 1s of most events are held. Also located in this room is the Main Stage where each WSOP bracelet winner is presented their coveted gold bracelet.
Buying-in
If you want to register for an event and you do not want to carry around mounds of cash, the Rio also accepts live Casino Chips, Cashiers Checks and Wire Transfers (please allow 5 days for processing) and Cash Advance (credit cards may be used for purchases of cash advance only).
