I’ve been to the Green Valley Ranch Poker Room multiple times, and honestly, it’s been a bad experience almost every visit. The room has potential, but the way things are managed makes it frustrating to play there.
The most recent example was during a timed promotion, when a woman at the table was literally sleeping through it. I asked the floor if they could at least give her a warning or address it, and they basically did nothing and let it continue. In a timed promotion where fairness matters, that’s ridiculous. It slows the game down, hurts the integrity of the promotion, and makes it feel like rules and etiquette aren’t enforced at all.
This isn’t a one-time issue either — it’s the same pattern every time: poor enforcement, inconsistent decisions, and a general lack of urgency from the floor when problems come up.
I wanted to like this room, but I’m done wasting my time here. There are better-run poker rooms in Vegas.
